I do quite a bit of Copic coloring!  Something I didn’t know existed a few years ago.  I have taken many lessons and am branching out into drawing.  I wanted to have something to hold the markers while I was coloring.  I came across this wood holder at an extreme discount and thought it would be perfect.

I stamped the sides with my favorite Unity stamp and embossing with Aged-Ivory.  Then I used a spray to create the background color.  Finally, I used Clean Color markers for the dark purple.

I thought the wood was too rough for the Copic nibs.

Anyway, this works perfectly!  I have a gorgeous holder to use and admire while I color.

  1. this is so cool! I have a wooden tote for my markers. Wish I could show you. I am curious why you have washi tape around your markers? I noticed there are different designs of washi tape.

    • If there is one washi tape it is just to indicate that it is mine. The second indicates that I have a refill. These help so much!

  2. What a clever idea! I love anything that gets art onto my walls and tables and this would get lots of use. I had that stamp in my cart while it was on sale and I took it out. DARN IT! Thanks for sale wonderful idea.
