Tomorrow is my partner’s (Edward) birthday!  One of the things I love about him is his knowledge and interest in color.  I was working on colors for our new home and had chosen gray and green.  When I asked him about additional colors he immediately suggested purple!  We love color and are going for a Boho Chic look…so, perfect.  I created this card for him using this color palette.  We are supposed to close in mid-April…cross your fingers. 🙂

This week I will be posting a Copic marker holder (stamped with my favorite Unity stamp), Love Bud, Thanks for That Thing, an Art Journal page, and a masculine birthday card.

  1. Purple and green is one of my favorite color combos. I love all the layers. When you first look at the card it is deceptive online. There’s a lot going on without getting too busy. Happy birthday to Edward. He’s gonna love his card.

  2. How awesome to share the love of color with another. I like the design and colors of this card. Can be used for a man or a woman.

  3. Great card! So excited for you and your new home! That is a cute little dog. Does it hold some significance to you? it appears to be vintage.

  4. Congratulations on the house. Hope it all works out. I love purple.

  5. How fun that your card matches the colors that you will paint your house! The purple is really a great addition to the gray and green.
