Love these easy-to-make simple poppin’ poppies! Just a little fussy cutting and Glue Dots®.

Time: 15 minutes, plus drying time.
Level: Beginner
Size: 5 x 7 inches
Supplies:
- Glue/Adhering: Glue Dots® – Permanent Tape and Pop-up Dots.
- Paper: DCWV Garden Charm, DCWV 5 x 7 Ivory card base
- Burlap: DCWV Printed Burlap
- Ink: Mixed Media Inx – Schoolhouse and stylus
- Other: Glossy Accents, Sharpie – Red, Ribbon – Red
- Tools (not shown): Ruler, Craft knife, Scissors
Details:
- Card Base: Using premade card, ink the edges and about 1-inch with Mixed Media Inx – Schoolhouse and stylus.
- Cut Paper:
- DCWV Garden Charm
- Red with White Dots – 4 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches
- Poppies – 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches
- DCWV Printed Burlap
- Check – Red: 3 3/4 x 5 3/4
- DCWV Garden Charm
- Poppies
- Fussy cut out two poppies from the poppies paper, check scrap paper.
- Color the edge using a Sharpie – Red marker.
- Bend the petals toward the inside of the flower.
- Apply Glossy Accents to centers, allow to dry.
- Ribbon:
- Cut a 5-inch strip and trim ends as shown.
- Sentiment:
- DCWV Garden Charm – cut out “Celebrate Today.”
- Cover flower with Glossy Accents, allow to dry.
- Assembly:
- Center and adhere Red with White Dots to Card Base using Glue Dots® – Permanent Tape.
- Center and adhere burlap to above using Glue Dots® – Permanent Tape.
- Center and adhere poppies to above using Glue Dots® – Permanent Tape.
- Center and adhere red ribbon with Glue Dots® – Permanent Tape.
- Adhere fussy cut poppies to poppies on top layer using Glue Dots® – Pop-up Dots, the poppies do not have to match!
- Adhere sentiment with Glue Dots® – Permanent Tape.
