I love this image and knew that I wanted to focus on the iguana. let the girl fade into the background. As I was searching for a good background I realized I had the perfect one. I have pictures of the most incredible iguana! I love how the eye of the iquana is peeking through her, how she is surrounded by iguana, and how she melts in the jungle background that the iguana creates.
In contrast, I worked to ensure that the iguana she is hold really pops, in terms of color and dimension.

Last Fall I was in south Florida on a vacation and went to the Wakodahatchee Wetlands. Thankfully, I was with a friend! As we turned a corner near the end of our visit we saw this HUGE prehistoric looking lizard, dragon, iguana. After some research it turned out to be a Green Iguana, which is native to Central, South America, and the Caribbean. Most likely, it was a pet (or the offspring) at one time and was let loose. Anyway, it was a startling, amazing, and wonderful experience. I got quite a few pictures, here are a few. Hope you enjoy them!
- Card Base: Product packaging
- Background: Green Iguana picture, Distress Ink – Mowed Lawn
- Image: The East Wind – Iguana, Copics, glitter pens. The iguana she is holding is stacked up three times to give dimension. The tail is stacked three times, but only adhered at the base of the tail, so that the tail is dimensional in another way.
