With a “Stars & Stripes” theme, I knew I wanted to do something with stripes that was different.  When I was looking through my stamps for stripes I saw this Unity tree stamp!  Turned another way they were quirky stripes.  Paired with a paper rosette as a star…I ended up with a quirky stars and stripes…modern.electic.twist{ed}.

Details:

  1. Card Base:  Product packaging.
  2. Stripes:  The background paper is navigational themed paper I received in a swap.  I stamped a Unity Stamp tree stamp with Distress Ink – Jeans, and then clear embossed it.  I colored the stripes with Copics (B90s).
  3. Star:  This is baby boy paper made into a rosette with Tim Holtz die.  A punched red dot, stamped with a flower and Hero Arts – Unicorn.  And a red gem.
  4. Washi Tape
