The Addicted to CAS Challenge now is “Showers.”  Where I live our Spring showers aren’t always filled with sunshine.  So, I wanted to do something with rain on a darker background.

This card has odd dimensions because I didn’t like several attempts and I made it using the final attempt and what was left of my piece of paper.

Details:

  1. Card Base:  3.5 x 4.25, Neehan Metallic White.  All layers had opposite corners chomped.
  2. First Layer – Rain:  Neenah Metallic White, stamped with Inkadinkadoo circles with Palette glue pad, and embossed with clear powder.
  3. First Layer – Background:  Created with using Distress Ink – Ocean, Jeans, and Glass with a watercolor brush.  Then I used a dauber with Jeans over the watercolor to make it darker.  I think there was some gold sparkly something on the dauber!  Looks good. 🙂
