For those that aren’t aware, I do some quilling. This requires so MANY strips of paper, generally about 1/8 inch.
I began quilling because I had paper that I could use, not so I would have to purchase more. Turns out that will typical quilling paper is very thin and long. Not exactly what I have in my stash of card stock!
But, as it turns out I like to quill with many different kinds of paper; including, money!
I have been spending time cutting strips individually as needed. Not that fun. Not horrible, but not fun either.
I have looked at quilling dies, but cannot justify the expense since I have a Silhouette. And the time I would have to STAND there to get strips…unlikely to happen!
Finally, this week, I got my act together…I made the files I need in Silhouette. Yay, me!
I created files for 1/8 and 1/4 inch, and for flowers. So much easier. I simply couldn’t have done the flower blossoms with hearts without moving to the Silhouette (or purchasing strips!).
