Last year, I ended up doing the #100HappyDays project. I started a related Facebook group that morphed in more. And then petered out. I miss looking for something that makes me happy each day, I miss posting about it, and I miss the support from that group. One thing I did retain was a modified perspective, I am looking for small things that make me happy…I just don’t share them.
2014, was…tough. Many horrible things happened. I am just crawling out of the funk that was 2014 (which was worse than 2013…which I didn’t think was possible!). Crafting was one of the steady things that gave me…JOY.
So, when I was considering what I wanted to focus on for 2015…being happy and having joy in my life seemed a refreshing change. Then I remembered that I received a stamp from Unity…”Be Joyful.” A plan was starting to come together! As I started working on Design Team things for 2015…I realized that incorporating “Be Joyful” into my crafting would be fun…why not do a year-long series? So, I start this series today!
Please join me…either by commenting on my projects here or joining the Facebook group. Let’s #bejoyful together! The idea is to find joy and share it more days than not…a picture, a quote, a posting, a status, a video…a whatever, more days than not.
On a side/related tangent…I also put in to do one week of Growing with Unity (Unity Stamps). For each week in the year they pick someone that will post a Unity project each day. On Wednesday of that week they are featured on the Unity blog. I was given the week of August 10th, 2015! Thankfully, I have lots of time to plan.
