Dragonflies Greeting CardThe third challenge in Miss You Greeting Card - Challenge 1the series was to stamp with paint.  This seemed like a nothing challenge, but I did it anyway.  The trick is to make sure you use only a little paint (if this is the look you want!).  I did some test stamps until I got the look I was after.  Paint seems like it is more vibrant and present than the stamp ink I have.  I might actually do this again!

The background dragonflies were stamped with ebony Americana paint and the foreground with dusty concord distress ink.  The ink created a much less clear and vibrant image.  Good it know!

The background dragonflies were a stamped with from a set I got at Michael’s quite a while ago.

I used this Silhouette file to the circles and adhered that with popdots so that it would create dimension.

The top circle was a 2 inch punch.  It was also adhered with popdots to create even more dimension.
