This is the revised recipe. They are ok, but not better. They just miss being dense, chewy, with a texture of over cooked oatmeal! They still don’t have much flavor. So, I got worse texture and no increase in flavor.
I’m done with this recipe until I can find some apricot extract.
Also, having had other problems with recipes from the Betty Crocker website I might be swearing their recipes off for good.
These additions were made to what was left after baking 32 cookies or about half the dough.
- 2.25 oz bag chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 5 oz Smucker’s Simply Fruit – Apricot
- 1/2 cup flour
